Choose the page size by what happens next
Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its picture, which is best for reading on screen. A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) puts each image on a standard sheet, which is what you want if someone will print it.
A small margin keeps edges from being lost on printers that can't print to the edge of the paper.
The PDF is about as big as the images inside it
The images make up most of the PDF, so 20 phone photos of about 3 MB each give a PDF of roughly 60 MB. To make it smaller, run the photos through Compress image or Resize image first.
Text in scanned images doesn't become searchable; this tool doesn't do OCR.
Check the order before you save
Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons in the file list to reorder pages. The PDF follows the order on screen, one image per page.
Phone photos are placed upright: the orientation the camera recorded in the photo's EXIF data is applied, so pictures taken in portrait don't end up sideways.

Questions
Can I add an existing PDF to the images?
Not here; this tool takes images. Make the image PDF first, then combine it with other PDFs in Merge PDF.
My photos are HEIC. Will they work?
Convert them with HEIC to JPG first, then add the JPGs here.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Very large batches of big photos can run out of memory, especially on phones.
