Pages are copied, not re-rendered
Kept pages are copied into the new file with their content as it is, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Your original file isn't changed.
Links or bookmarks that pointed to removed pages won't have anywhere to go in the new file.

How is this different from Split PDF?
Split PDF works from typed page ranges and can make several files. This page shows thumbnails, which helps when you need to see the pages, and always makes one PDF.
Can I add pages from another PDF?
Not here. Combine the files with Merge PDF first, then remove or move pages in the result.
What happens to the pages I remove?
They're left out of the new file. The original PDF on your device still has them.
